Last week I got to go and meet the fabulous Betsey Johnson!!!! It was simply wonderful. My friend Terra and I met up early in the morning and downed our costumes. We were told the theme was circus so we dressed as appropriately as possible. On arriving and waiting in line for two hours, we soon noticed that no one else seemed to have followed the theme but simply wore Betsey Johnson clothes of all kinds, which was lovely to feast our eyes upon. Not only was there eye candy to be seen in line on the street but also in the window! The atomic bomb shells where dancing in fetching outfites and being nothing but adorable. Then excitement excitement Betsey arrives!!! She is spotted down the block walking on high high black heels and in a tight pink and black striped dress. She see us as the crowd begins to scream with excitement which seems to excite her as well! She waves and hugs people close to the front and her employes who no doubtingly were very eager to meet her. She walked inside and got up on stage and danced just as energetically as the burlesque girls. She was smiling ear to ear the whole time.
Then the meet and greet commenced and after a long wait we got a glass of champagne mixed with mango juice and a cup cake seconds before meeting Betsey Jonhson! She was very pleased with our outfits which of course made us blush with excitment.
