Art Opening: Polish Handgun - A collection of visual art by Spencer Moody

Moksha Presents:

Polish HandgunA Collection of Visual Art by Spencer Moody

Opening Friday - January 27th, 2012

Moksha is very excited to present Polish Handgun, a collection of visual art by Spencer Moody. The opening reception will be Friday, January 20th, from 7-11pm with a special acoustic set by Moody (guest appearance by Cap Lori.) The exhibition is free and open to the public through February 16th, 2012.

Most commonly known as the singer for the Murder City Devils, Spencer Moody is a coffee roaster by trade and has been making music and visual art in Seattle since the early 90's. Moody uses his art as a medium to participate without direct engagement with others about the self-destructive nature of humanity. Plain spoken and direct; his work is not intellectual. Moody sometimes collaborates with his beautiful wife and talented artist, Coco Howard. (Coco will be Moksha's featured artist in May 2012.) Moody's current musical endeavor is Triumph of Lethargy Skinned Alive To Death.
