Jay Clark, American asshole and artist. That guy you hate to love. His opinions are endless and he likes the sound of his own voice. He'll never back down and will often speak (or shout) over you and everyone else simply to prove his point. You may feel compelled to sock him in the face in a blinding fit of rage, but you don't. As ridiculous as he might sound, he may be saying something worth paying attention to.
Jay Clark is an accidental artist, driven by the need to create, to purge thought into visual
form. Cutting, pasting, manipulating and distorting perception with recycled images and materials. His work touches on topics such as sex, politics, the media, pop culture and everything else that sparks his fancy. He makes a mockery of your beloved heroes while bringing awareness to subjects that go unnoticed due to the blinding lights and glitter of the facade that society attempts to portray. Exposing the darkness, loneliness, apathy, and despair that exist between our fast food take-out urgencies and doctor appointments with a stroke of humor, lightening the blow of reality. While unintentional, I believe he does this simply to have you question your beliefs, make you laugh or to piss you off.
